THREAD TOGETHER
3,000 Duckies re-homed to those in need
When life gives you 3,000 mislabelled shoes, make magic—and that’s exactly what we did.
Recently, we found ourselves with a small hiccup: a batch of our beloved velcro shoes arrived with the wrong size labels. They were in perfect condition, comfy as ever, and ready to be worn—just a little confused about their sizing. Instead of boxing them up and sending them back (where they might end up in the dreaded land of landfill), we asked ourselves: what if these shoes could still go places?

So instead of letting great shoes go to waste, we teamed up with the incredible crew at Thread Together, an Aussie charity that rescues brand-new excess clothing and rehomes it to people doing it tough. Think individuals facing homelessness, escaping domestic violence, or rebuilding after natural disasters—all getting to choose the clothing they want and need, free of charge. It’s all about restoring dignity, one outfit at a time.
Our mislabelled shoes are now getting a second chance on the feet of people who really need them. It’s a small shift with a big impact—and it keeps 3,000 pairs of perfectly good shoes out of landfill. That’s a win for people and the planet.
Thread Together has already helped thousands across the country while reducing fashion waste in a big way. We’re stoked to support their mission, and proud that our comfy Duckies are now stepping into a new purpose.

Because when life gives you size labels gone wrong—give shoes to someone who needs them.🧡
