Should I purchase velcro or slip-on?
Velcro - Ideal for little ones with slim or narrow feet, our velcro style offers both support and flexibility. It's a popular choice among younger children, especially those wearing sizes 3, 4, and 5.
Slip on - Perfect for busy toddlers, encouraging self-dressing and independence. It's also a favourite among more confident walkers, commonly those wearing sizes 6 and 7.

Are Duckies podiatrist approved?
Duckies® shoes have been independently tested and officially endorsed by a practising paediatric podiatrist, not as a paid partnership but based on their design.
They are built around the key features recommended in children’s footwear for new walkers: flexible, lightweight soles, wide toe area, and room for little feet to move, spread, and develop naturally.
Approved for new walkers and young children, Duckies focus on healthy foot development rather than stiff “supportive” fashion styles.
How do I measure my child's foot?
1.Place paper on the floor- Lay a piece of paper flat on the floor with one edge touching a wall.
2. Position your child- Have your child stand on the paper with their heel against the wall.
3. Mark the longest toe- Use a pencil to mark where the longest toe ends.
4. Repeat for other foot- Replicate the same process with the other foot on a separate piece of paper (or flip the first one).
5. Measure the Length- Using a ruler, measure the distance from the wall edge to the toe mark on each piece of paper.
6. Use the Longer Measurement- Compare both measurements and use the longer one when choosing the best fit for your little one.
